Jakarta (2017) - We've stepped on Modern Time, nor can I describe what it is called for the Now Age, which I know to find work is already very difficult. Changes occur every second, economic also increase drastically. The ideal of the average of all those who just graduated from college or graduated from college was looking for a job. Why not be a businessman? And I also can not answer because either the fault of the University and the School or the mistakes of the Individuals in it. For some it may not be difficult to start a business from the smallest thing because it goes back to each other.
Here, I will share my experience with you all. Indeed my goal after graduating college is to look for work with the intention of raising capital to own a business, whatever it is. I graduated from the Faculty of Law at one of the prestigious universities in the province where I was born (if I am not mistaken in BIO). During college I worked side by side as a shopkeeper, restaurant waiters, kebab sellers, cafe operators, and do not forget my job before graduating as a driver. Here I bring a rental car owned by parents, the result is not bad, not bad.
After graduating college I wandered to Jakarta in January 2016, does not mean arrival in Jakarta I immediately work, no. It took me about 3 months to travel around Jakarta, entrust my application in security, send an application by mail, and also been entrusted to friends. Three months is not a short time for an unemployed person, every week wants to go home, but there is confidence in my heart that I will get a fortune here.
Finally I can call a job at a famous 4 star hotel in Tangerang City. I was a scholar would assume that I would be positioned in the office, sitting behind the table and with other high fantasy. But no, I am hired to be a Driver at the same time Bellman at the hotel, Hellow! I'm a bachelor! So was my conscience at that moment.
My experience does not stop here, I will share how interviews, and other things to get a job. For my record now as Human Resources Team (HRD) in one of the biggest companies in Indonesia.
Finally, without a lot of reasons I immediately accepted the job, with hope while working here I can get a wider network, why not? Because my current job position is in direct contact with hotel guests. I can share the shuttle with them and I happen to be a bit English, which I learned since grade 4 of elementary school.
At the time of the interview process I feel normal there is no special skills to answer questions and also no psychotest.
Four months running as a driver I got the info that in the hotel where I work allow employees to Cross Training, meaning learning / training in other departments within a company. Well, here I use the best possible. I select training in the Human Resources section.
I have twice a week study opportunity in HRD, where I learn how to interview, signature contract, other things related to work.
With quite a good science I applied for my current job position as Talent Acquisition Officer (Still in HResources container). Finally I was called to follow Psikotes (Passed) and Interview User (My Candidate Manager). Alhamdulillah after waiting 2 weeks I can phone that I accepted.
Until now I have worked for 1 year 2 months in that place. Many things I learned and I will share with you who want to be accepted in any company.
